Deliver aged care to residents of Minyerri community (charter of rights, standards and complaints process)

We deliver a range of aged care services that are consistent with the National Aged Care Quality Standards. We have a vision for aged care in Minyerri to keep our community strong through our elders remaining in community and having the opportunity to pass on culture to our future generations.

Our aged care is focussed on the wellbeing of our clients and continuing to engage them in our community. This is through a range of activities including art, social gatherings and trips out on country including fishing.

• Meals on Wheels

We provide our clients with healthy meals that are cooked by our staff here in Minyerri. Our focus is on providing nutritious meals that clients can enjoy in their own home. Our meals on wheels program is funded through the Commonwealth Home Support Program and individuals Home Care Packages.

• Domestic assistance

  Laundry, Cleaning products, Home hygiene, household tasks

• Personal Care - Assisting with showering, toilet, personal hygiene, grooming

• Transport around the community and to respite
  

• Social group activities – bringing people together, fishing, painting, community events

• Social individual activities – home visit, advocacy, yarning, arts
